Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will face Imperium with a partner that has been determined. The company has kept this identity a secret, but chances are we already know who it is.
Multiple outlets, including the WRKD Wrestling Twitter account, which is becoming a veritable machine for launching exclusive previews of WWE shows, have reported that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn’s mystery partner will be Shinsuke Nakamura. Since his return to television, the Japanese fighter has scored 8 wins in 9 fights and this shows that WWE wants to place him in the main storylines of their shows.
It should be noted that some media, such as the Wrestling Observer, have hinted at the possibility that this mystery man was Drew McIntyre, who would be making his return to television. However, the Scotsman’s status doesn’t endear him to the man.
In addition to Nakamura’s appearance, scoop has been released regarding other things and some of the feuds we can expect to see during the show. Rumor has it that some of the main roster talent has already left the United States for Saudi Arabia, although this should not affect tonight’s show. Here are some details revealed:
