Kia Motor has recently launched its new electronic crossover Kia EV6, now its mechanical details have been released. The crossover, offered by a South Korean company, is designed on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). This electronic crossover is supplied in three different trims, including the EV6, EV6GT and EV6GT lines.
The new logo of the company will also be seen in this electric car. It will be launched in the market with two battery packs. The long range variant is given a battery pack of .4.77.4 kWh and the standby variant is given 56.0 kWh. While the EV6 GT-Line will be available with two battery packs, the EV6GT will only be launched in the market with a longer battery range. It will be the first electric car offered by the company with both wheel drive and four wheel drive options.
In its two wheel drive variants, the company is being offered a 77 k.4 kWh battery pack that will give a driving range of up to 501 km on a single charge. Despite being an electric vehicle, this crossover will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.2 seconds. It uses a 168 kW electric motor that generates 229ps of power. At the same time, the 239 kW electric motor generated in all wheel drive variants generates 325 PS of power.
In the lower range variant of the EV of, the company is offering a 56.0 kW battery pack that can reach 0 to 100 kmph in just .2.2 seconds per hour. This variant has a 125 kW electric motor, but its all-wheel drive variant has a 173 kW electric motor.
The GT version is the most powerful:
The all-wheel drive GT version of the EV6 electric crossover uses a 430kW dual motor, which generates a torque of 740Nm. The company claims that these variants reach speeds of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.5 to 3 seconds. The top speed of this variant is 260 km / h, special limited sleep software has also been used.
Fast charging system:
The company claims that the battery pack supplied to the EV6 electronic crossover charges up to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. It is supplied with 800V and 400V charging capabilities, no additional components or adapters required. With top charging, this electric crossover gets so charged in just 4.5 minutes that you get a driving range of up to 100 kilometers.
