Kia India has launched updated incarnations of its Kia Sonnet and Kia Celtos vehicles. The company’s sub-compact SUV Kia Sonnet is now priced at Rs 6.799 lakh, while the compact SUV Kia Celtos is now priced at Rs 9.95 lakh (former showroom). Both cars come with Kia’s brand new logo. Several new features have been added to updated versions of sonnets and celts, including paddle shifters for automatic modes. In addition, the company has added IMT technology to the new Celtos.
What a new price
The new sonnet will now be available in a total of 17 variants and the Celtos will now be available in a total of 16 variants. Bookings are being accepted at the company’s dealership for two new trains. In terms of price, the base model of the Sonnet (1.2-liter petrol HTE 5MT) is priced at Rs 6,799 lakh and the top model (1.5-liter diesel GTX + AT) is priced at Rs 13.25 lakh. Similarly, the base model of Celts (1.5 liter petrol HTE 6MT) is priced at Rs 9.95 lakh and the top model (1.5 liter CRDI diesel GTX + 6AT) is priced at Rs 17.65 lakh.
Keeping in mind the current demand of the customers, the company has launched another premium variant of 2021 Celtos – 1.4T-GDI Petrol GTX (O). Similarly, Sonnet’s most popular HTX trim will now be available with automatic options – HTX 7 DCT (1.0-liter T-GDI petrol) and HTX 6AT (1.5 liter diesel).
New feature of the 2021 Celtos SUV
In 2021, Kia Celtos, the company has introduced 17 new features, including the first in-segment smart authentic air purifier with ‘virus and bacteria’ protection, remote engine start on manual transmission, wireless phone projection on car touchscreen, air (OTA) addition, The command is included in the UVO connected car system. The IMT variant of the car has sunroof, beige and black interior and fully automatic air conditioning. For safety the company has also decided to provide electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management (VSM), brake assist (BA), hill assist control (HAC) features in the following variants.

New features of the 2021 Sonnet SUV
Kia Sonnet 2021 has been updated with 10 new features in the first section rear door sunscreen cartons, the first in-segment voice command open and close for the sunroof. The lower variants of the Kia sub-compact SUV feature features such as Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Brake Assist (BA), and Hill Assist Control (HAC). Lower variants have got an electric sunroof, smart key with push-button start, remote engine start, crystal cut aloe with cromwell door handle and silver wheel cap and much more.

Sonnet has got new engine option
There is no change in the engine of Kia Celts. It has the same 1.5-liter Smart Stream petrol, 1.4-liter Smartstream T-GDI petrol and 1.5-liter CRDI VGT diesel engine as before. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, an intelligent variable transmission (IVT), a 6-speed torque converter, a 7-speed DCT automatic and a 6-speed IMT (intelligent manual transmission). The sonnet, on the other hand, will come in a 1.2-liter natural ambitious petrol engine. In addition, 1.0-liter turbo T-GDI petrol and 2.5-liter diesel engine has been given. Sonnet’s transmission options include 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed IMT, 6-speed torque converter and 7-speed DCT automatic.
