“The current situation is not good,” Penny said after the hearing on Wednesday. “The situation is toxic. I believe the suspension is in the best interests of the patrons.”

Jamie Spears’ attorney Vivian Thorin called Zabel a “stranger” in the case and objected to the suspension.

Penny denied Thorin’s request to reconsider the decision, saying the decision could not be appealed.

“This suspension wanted Britney straight, she doesn’t want Jamie in her life,” Rosengart said on Wednesday.

Rosengart also requested that a hearing to end the stereotype, currently scheduled for December 31, be held within the next 30 to 45 days instead.
