The Archdiocese Social Pastoral (PSA) inaugurated its medical and dental center on the grounds of the Metropolitan Seminary in Asuncion, baptized after Pope Francis. It aims to provide the highest quality, reliable and timely health services, guaranteeing adequate human care in favor of the most vulnerable.
It will serve in a container donated by the brothers of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Saints of the Last Days, which is located in the Parque Seminario, now next to the Social Pharmacy, which also relies on the pastoral. People coming to this service will get completely free consultation and opportunity to access medicines.
Adalberto MartÃnez Flores, Archbishop of Asuncion and recently elected Cardinal Monsignor Adalberto MartÃnez Flores, who took part in the inaugural act held this Saturday morning, was in charge of blessing the space that would receive those with limited economic resources. Deacon Bernardo Figueredo, Coordinator of the Social Pastoral, was also present.
