The Department of Commerce is hosting a Christmas market of commerce, restaurants and crafts that will take place on December 10 and 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Sports Court in the La Florida neighborhood. An initiative that will coincide with the celebration of the first of two weekends of the fourth edition of the Living Nativity Scene, which this year will feature 10 biblical scenes, two period scenes and 18 trade scenes.
This market will have 14 shops, which will show – among others – their clothes, food, decorations, flowers, automotive products… 4 bars from the municipality will also participate, offering tapas plus drinks for 3.5 euros and 6 artisan stalls . “In commitment to the family character of this market, as the icing on the cake, there will be a free area for children’s games and inflatables,” explains the first deputy mayor, Marian Fernández Fernández.

This Christmas market will have free transport on the Christmas Tourist Train, specially prepared for the occasion and designed for the little ones. With morning and afternoon hours, it will have two stops: Old Town Hall Square and La Florida’s own Living Nativity Scene.
Participating businesses will be 10am, Kids 10am and EGC Trainer. Pickles and Salazón del Castillo, Gemma Nature, Illuminación y Regalos J. Leal, Bodegas de Fabula, Rosa del Cano, La Tienda Verde, El Jardín de Alicia, DKL Interiorismo, Bullceletti, Servier 3000 and Caravans Murcia. For their part, the catering establishments are Cafeteria Detroit, Confeiteria Triana, Casa Motos and Cafeteria Genial.
