Las Vegas continues to push the boundaries of technology with its newest attraction, Sphere. The newest addition to Sphere is Aura, a humanoid robot described as “the most advanced in the world.” Developed using state-of-the-art robotic mechanics and artificial intelligence, Aura is one of the most expressive and realistic robots on the market.
Aiming to transform the live event experience, David Dibble, CEO of MSG Ventures, a division of Sphere Entertainment, said: “We are pushing the boundaries of the use of robotics to enhance our guests’ journey through the venue.” Aura is designed to interact with guests and will act as a “spokesperson” for Sphere on digital and social platforms.
Before events at Sphere, five Aura robots greet guests and provide a unique and interactive experience. One of the upcoming attractions, “Postcard from Earth,” opening in October, will feature Aura.
The Sphere’s opening event, U2’s “UV Warning Baby Live at Sphere,” takes place on September 29th. By integrating innovative technologies like Aura, Sphere continues to lead the way into the future of entertainment.
Overall, Aura represents a remarkable advancement in the field of humanoid robotics, demonstrating the ever-evolving capabilities of AI and robotic mechanics.
