Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest carmaker, recently announced that it will raise the price of its vehicles from April 1. Along with this, the price of the company’s cheap car Maruti Alto will also go up in a few days. But before the best-selling hatchback car is getting huge discounts this month.

Maruti Suzuki referred to the increase in the price of its vehicles as the price of raw materials and components. On the other hand, media reports are claiming that the company may increase the price of its car to around Rs 34,000. It will depend on the different models, how much the price of the car will be increased.

Apart from this, it has been reported that the company is also working on the next generation model of its Maruti Alto. Which could be brought to market later this year. However, no official information has been shared yet. In the current Maruti Alto, the company has used a 796 cc power 3-cylinder petrol engine, which generates 48PS of power and 69Nm of torque. This engine comes with a 5 speed manual transmission gearbox.

Discount offers this month: This March, you can save up to Rs 39,000 on the Alto sold by the company’s Arena dealership. The car comes with a customer offer of Rs 20,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 4,000. This offer is available in both petrol and CNG models.

This car is one of the best selling cars in the Indian market and people like it the most because of its economy and budget. At present, the price of this car ranges from Rs 2.99 lakh to Rs 4.44 lakh. Apart from this, the car is also available in petrol and CNG options. In general, the petrol model gives a mileage of 22 km per liter, while the CNG variant gives a mileage of 31.59 km per kg. If you are also thinking of buying a Maruti Alto at a lower price, this is your last chance, as the price of this car will also go up from April 2.
