Last week to register for All U

The Office of the Mayor of Bogotá, through the Secretariat of Economic Development and Education and the District Agency for Higher Education, Science and Technology – Atenea, invites citizens to register for the fourth call of the Todos a la U program, which there are 27 thousand job training scholarships, oriented to construction, gastronomy and tourism, customer service, health and care sector.

This week is the last deadline to register. If you want to join you can do the process through the Opportunities Portal by logging in here or directly on the website of the District Agency for Higher Education, Science and Technology (Atenea).

“We invite the citizens of Bogota not to miss the opportunity to strengthen their skills and knowledge in areas that will facilitate their access to job opportunities and contribute to the construction of their life projects,” said Secretary of Education, Edna Bonilla.

Some of the courses available in this fourth call for All to the U are:

Basics of Construction and Civil Engineering, Baking and Pastry, Financial Analysis and Database and Comprehensive Care for Men and Women, etc. To view the complete training offer, people can enter here.

The universities that will provide this training are: La Sabana, the Los Libertadores University Foundation, the ECCI University, the Compensar University Foundation and the National University. In addition, 3 thousand training places are available in English, certified by the British Council.

“The main strength of Todos a la U, a short-cycle training program, is that it focuses on training that responds to the specific needs and demands of the city’s labor market. This is a training that not only increases the capabilities of human talent in Bogota of all ages, but also increases the possibility that this training will lead to employment and quality formal work,” said Alfredo Bateman, Secretary of Economic Development.
