IndyCar coincides with the F1 calendar with its inaugural event in Bahrain and opens the 2023 season on the weekend, March 3, with St. Petersburg Grand Prix in Florida.
The American Championship will once again have Spanish representation, with Álex Palou, the 2021 champion, once again running with Chip Ganassi Racing-Honda. The Barcelonan, also McLaren’s support in F1, are fully focused on the American series to try to regain the crown they won in 2021.
IndyCar will move to the city of Saint Petersburg, which has a 2.9-kilometer street circuit and 14 corners (5 left and 9 right-handers). A total of 100 laps will be completed on the track, so the distance of the race rises to 290 kilometers.
In Spain, through Movistar+, the race can be seen on the Deportes 3 channel (Dial 61). In addition, the Spanish chain will also broadcast a qualifying session on its Dial 193.
