Madrid, 26 (Portal/EP)

LG has introduced the company’s first monitor that includes OLED technology in a curved format, offers a 45-inch panel, a refresh rate of 240Hz and is focused on ‘gaming’.

The LG ULTraGear OLED (45GR95QE) features a borderless design, 45-inch footprint, WQHD (3440 X 1440) resolution and DCI-P3 color gamut with 98.5 percent color space coverage.

Developed by the South Korean manufacturer, this model is the brand’s first curved ‘gaming’ monitor to integrate OLED technology, with a 240Hz refresh rate and an ultrawide aspect ratio of 21:9.

Moreover, it is also the leader in the LG catalog for combining screen sizes of these inches with the 800R’s curvature. This, according to the brand, allows you to maximize the feeling of immersion.

On the other hand, it offers better HDR 10 performance, HDMI 2.1 support, which includes features like Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and DisplayPort 1.4. It also integrates multitasking tasks with features like picture-by-picture (PBP) and picture-in picture (PIP).

Unlike the predecessor model, the LG UltraGear OLED adds an anti-glare and low reflection coating developed by LG, which prevents glare or reflections on the screen.

The tech company has announced that it will be one of the innovations it will showcase soon at the IFA Consumer Technology and Electronics Fair in Berlin, which begins on September 2. The previous model OLED LG UltraGear 48GQ900 will also be present in this event.

It should be recalled that a few days ago, a spokesperson for LG Display said that the South Korean manufacturer is also preparing a new flat panel with OLED technology, which will be between 20 and 30 inches in size and will be added to the product family. Will keep in of intermediate size.
