The farmers have been agitating for the last two months about the three new agricultural laws of the central government and they are adamant on the demand for withdrawal of these laws. Meanwhile, the discussion on the proposed tractor rally by the farmers on Republic Day is in full swing. ‘Swaraj Abhiyan’ leader Yogendra Yadav has said that tableaux will also be seen in the tractor parade of farmers on 26 January.

He wrote in the tweet, ‘Like January Rajpath, tractor parade will be seen in the tractor parade of farmers in Delhi on January 26. On every tractor, the tricolor flag and farmer organizations’ flags will be installed. The general public has also been invited to watch this parade.

Yogendra Yadav said in another tweet, ‘The tractor parade of farmers to be held in Delhi will raise the glory of Republic Day. The peasants will uphold the prestige of Gana, increase the pride of the tricolor. The farmers parade to be held on January 26 will be held in a completely peaceful manner.

Meanwhile, the second phase of talks between the Delhi Police and the farmers’ organizations on Thursday in connection with the proposed tractor rally by the farmers remained inconclusive as the farmer leaders maintained their stand that on January 26, it is located on the outer ring road in the national capital. The rally will be held. After a meeting between the police and farmer organizations, Yogendra Yadav said that the police wanted the farmers to take out their tractor rally outside Delhi.

‘Rally to be held inside Delhi’

He said, ‘We will carry out our parade peacefully inside Delhi. They wanted this tractor rally outside Delhi, which is not possible. Sources said that the police officers tried to convince the farmers organizations to take out the tractor rally on the Kundli-Manesar Palwal Express instead of the outer ring road. A farmer leader who attended the meeting said, “The government wants our rally to be outside Delhi, while we want to organize it within Delhi.”

Joint Commissioner of Police coordinated the meeting

Joint Commissioner of Police (Northern Region) SS Yadav coordinated this meeting. The meeting took place at Mantram Resort near the Singhu border. Special Commissioner (Law and Order-Northern Region) Sanjay Singh, Special Commissioner of Police (Intelligence) Deepender Pathak and several other senior officers from Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh attended the meeting. Similarly, a meeting was held by farmers leaders and officers of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana Police forces at Vigyan Bhawan on Wednesday.
