Pato O’Ward showed off his new custom car on his social networks, an impressive McLaren 720s painted light blue with black details courtesy of his own team.
The Mexican driver from the Woking team has made a good start to the season in the United States IndyCar Series, having seemingly earned the pampering of his owners with this powerful machine.
How is the McLaren 720S?
The luxurious and iconic supercar is the second car in the McLaren Super Series and impresses onlookers both inside and out with its futuristic design and vertical doors.
The 720S has a V8 engine that produces 720 hp and acceleration that can reach 100 kilometers per hour in less than three seconds. It is also known for its great fuel economy and top speed of 345 km/h.
A few months ago, McLaren announced that it would soon stop production of this model, as it is already planning its successor for 2024.
In addition to these features, O’Ward showed off the high degree of customization in his new unit on several postcards, as his initials appear at least on the seats, mirrors, steering wheel and rear wing.
How is O’Ward doing in IndyCar?
After five races in the 2023 IndyCar Series season, O’Ward continues to show that he is one of the best and most reliable drivers in the series, second in the standings, just six behind Spaniard Alex Pallo with 174 units. The numbers are behind.
