Lima is about to reach an important milestone for Fluminense. The midfielder, after all, will complete 50 games for the Tricolor team if he takes the field in the match against Internacional. The two teams will face each other this Wednesday (27), at 9:30 pm, in the first match of the Libertadores semifinal.

The midfielder arrived at the club at the beginning of this year and has been used extensively by Fernando Diniz. The number 45 has played different roles and is one of the positive surprises of the season. The player, so far, has played 49 games for the club and recorded 28 wins, nine draws and 12 losses.
With five goals scored and four assists made, Lima only needs one game to complete 50 games for Fluminense. The midfielder is not expected to start on the field as a starter this Wednesday (27), but will remain as an option on the bench and possibly enter the second half.
The player is one of those responsible for creating offensive plays at Fluminense and the job has been done. The number 45 even provided one of the assists for the tricolor team to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Libertadores.
Lima, in fact, is the second in the Tricolor squad with the most games played this season. The midfielder is just behind Fábio, who is one of the team’s highlights and has played 50 games for the club in 2023.
Lima was revealed by the youth of Grêmio and is now 27 years old. The number 45 also played for teams such as Mallorca and Ceará during his career. The player has a contract with the Tricolor club until December 2025.
