The Solitude Monegros Festival, which will be held in the desert of Fraga next Saturday, July 29, has completed its line-up, which includes more than a hundred artists, which will be organized in different stages.
Another ‘signature’ is Dutchman Joris Voorn, who put his career as an engineer on hold to become one of the most famous techno and house DJs. During his twenty-year career on stage, he did “remixes” for Hot Chip, Goldfrapp, Moby, Lana del Rey, Fatboy Slim, Swedish House Mafia and Röyksopp, among others. In addition, he embarked on a musical adventure in the founding of Rejected Music and the Green Recordings label.
More than 100 artists create a gargantuan poster of Monegros Desert. The American combo Wu-Tang Clan stands out, rapturous legends who fell on the schedule in 2022 and who will now keep their word to perform in the desert of Huesca in the Spanish solo year.
Pendulum Contraction, the British-Australian electronic rock and drum & bass band that has been churning out a tamer sound for two decades, also shines in its own light. And of course there will be no shortage of Monegros classics such as Richie Hawtin, Ben Sims, scar Mulero, Paco Osuna or oak scar.
Techno will once again be one of the leading threads with a wide range of sensibilities headed by two emblematic artists. On the one hand, Blackworks, who will land heavy weights as 999999999, Charlie Sparks, Parfait, Dexphase, Nico Moreno, SNTS and Paula Temple. On the other, Drumcode, led by Adam Beyer, will perform an arsenal of Michael Bibi, Kölsch, Kevin De Vries, Anna, Sama’Abdulhadi, Ilario Alicante and Juliet Fox.
The role of national talent is decided with the Spanish hip hop star Fernando Costa, the Navarrese duo Iseo & Dodosound or the Madrid rap duo Ill Pekeño & Ergo Pro. house, and Pushmann de Turiason. Both participations are repeated for the second consecutive year.
