Fuel can be purchased at service centers in the country through rechargeable chip cards. In this regard, it was announced by the competent Cuban authorities, in which the method of obtaining the said card was also clarified. Therefore, starting this Monday, Cubans can buy them for free at FINCIMEX offices. In addition, according to this corporation, the card can be recharged at various business establishments in each province.
Similarly, one of its advantages is that it allows you to recharge the balance as many times as required, without any limit on the amounts.
Therefore, expansion of retail trade and promotion in computerization of processes appears as the fundamental objective of this new means of payment. It all started with the idea of a growth strategy.
With regard to operation, these cards have a fixture that operates independently of power in the network or connectivity. Another aspect that stands out is that its use does not require submission to the ownership of the owner.
What do the populace think?
Since the announcement of this measure, there have been many opinions of Cubans on almost all platforms and social networks.
Above all, because from this Tuesday long lines can be seen in Havana when receiving rechargeable chip cards for the purchase of fuel.
Several users posted pictures of long queues at FINCIMEX offices. For example, an internet user mentioned the FINCIMEX office in Sierra Maestra in Miramar, Havana and shared his opinion.
The user commented on his social network, “Here since 8 in the morning the queue does not move, the connection comes for 5 minutes and leaves for 2 hours, I do not know why.”
But these are not the only opinion metrics generated, but many Internet users attribute the second day of receiving the card to the cause of misinformation.
“Now they tell us that you can continue paying with cash, that cards are just another option. It is not mandatory for cards to pay in any cuppet”, assured a previous user.
The same internet user also expressed that according to the Sierra-Fincimex workers, no capote in Cuba can force them to pay by fuel card.
