MAZATLAN. – Did you know you can get free breast implants through Public Charity? According to Alma Rosa López, director of this facility in Sinaloa, they offer a variety of support to people without social security with the aim of improving their quality of life.
The most vulnerable have access to a wide range of services, ranging from hearing aids, folding aluminum walkers, canes and crutches, to more specific assistive devices such as cataract surgery, total prostheses, knee and hip replacements, standard wheelchairs and for patients with cerebral palsy, among others in childhood.
“They are the people who are, in a sense, managing the support for the people who need it most, and here we have the entire catalog of support that we have that not all citizens know about.”

In addition to introducing the support catalog, they held a workshop to train everyone involved in support management.
The importance of publicizing and implementing these programs was highlighted as the Government of Sinaloa strives to provide major benefits to the most vulnerable people. It is therefore important that those who care for the beneficiaries know the procedures to be followed, the forms to be completed and the channels of channeling, taking into account that additional resources can be managed for the benefit of the population.
As part of this information event, a training workshop was offered for the staff of the municipal DIF and the health units of the central area, attending to all entities that could be involved in social management, to ensure that the free support of the Public Charity reaches those who need it do need them.
