Why is Love and Friendship Day celebrated on September 16th?
In Colombia, unlike other countries, the Day of love and friendship It is celebrated in the third week of September and not in February as is usual in other countries. That is why the Colombian country will celebrate it in 2023 16th September.
This celebration dates back to 1969 when the government decided to celebrate it in another month. This is because Colombians could not afford gifts for Love and Friendship Day, as it used to coincide with the start of school.
