Madrid has approved the expenditure of 3.3 million euros in public subsidies called for the development of events in the city of Madrid that will promote science, technology, entrepreneurship and innovation, corresponding to the 2013 financial year.
The purpose of the call is to strengthen the ecosystem of innovation by attracting and financing, this kind of event that can add value to the city. The aim is to strengthen Madrid as a modern city, with development activities aimed at promoting innovation in companies and as an attractive destination for the development of enterprises and activities with a high R+D+i content. In addition, the attraction of qualified professional talent and business development in Madrid is sought through different tools, such as the call for subsidies, grants and awards.
During this call, the following events may be required for support:
The events in the city of Madrid, held in the form of hybrids or face-to-face, will be held between November 1 2022 and October 31 2023, and their cost will be equal to or greater than 20,000 coins. The subsidy will consist of a subsidy of 40% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of 200,000 Europeans per event.
This call is part of the Strategic plan for the support of the Government’s Areas of Economy, Innovation and Employment 2023-2025.
