Maharashtra lockdown extended for 15 days, the state government gave this exemption

Mumbai: The state government of Maharashtra led by Uddhav Thackeray, while addressing the state, announced to extend the COVID-19 lockdown in the state by 15 June and by 15 days. The state government has issued new guidelines for the 15-day lockdown.

However, the Chief Minister said that some exemptions and restrictions will be implemented in the districts on the basis of Kovid-19 case. Maharashtra recorded 18,600 new Kovid-19 cases and 814 new deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 57,31,815.

Addressing the state, Thackeray asked people not to let their corona rescue measures fall short for the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the new set of guidelines issued by the government, what is allowed and what is not:

1: All essential shops which currently operate between 7 am and 11 am will now be allowed to operate between 7 am and 2 pm.

2: There will be a ban on movement after 3 pm, only medical and other emergencies and home delivery will be allowed under the order of May 12, 2021.

3: Delivery of essential and non-essential items through online e-commerce platforms will be allowed in the districts.

4: All government offices, except those directly involved in COVID work, can function with a 25% presence.

5: Shops related to the agricultural sector can operate till 2 pm, the concerned District Disaster Management Authority (DMA) may extend the time on weekends or allow shops to open for some time on weekends, depending on sowing season and requirements Can.

According to the Maharashtra Health Department data, five districts of Maharashtra – Satara, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Raigad and Hingoli were declared ‘very fragile’ as COVID-19 positivity rate in these districts was 17% as against the state average of 11.06%. Was between 21%.

Administrative units where the COVID-19 positivity rate exceeds 20% and oxygen bed occupancy exceeds 75% will continue as per the ‘May 12, 2021 order given below:

1: The boundaries of such districts will be sealed, people can not be allowed to move in and out of the districts. Only in case of family death, on account of emergency, duty related to emergency or related to COVID, or necessary services related to COVID will be allowed.

2: There will be no restriction on movement and delivery of goods in shops / establishments.

3: The operation of shops serving the people will have serious consequences in the form of heavy penalties, along with the closure of the shop until the period of notification of the corona epidemic.

4: Home delivery will be permitted by the District Disaster Management Authority (DMA) during this period and should be encouraged to allow for a longer period of time.
