Mahindra Thar recalls: Mahindra & Mahindra, the country’s leading automobile maker, on Thursday announced that it is recalling diesel variants of some models of its popular SUV Mahindra Thar. According to the information, the company has brought back a total of 1,577 trains due to technical faults, which will be returned to the owners after they are repaired.
The company’s recall includes vehicles manufactured between September 7 and December 25 last year. According to information shared by the company, the camshafts of these recalled vehicles are facing some problems. The company cited mechanical failures at the supplier plant behind it.

Mahindra said it would soon contact the vehicle owners affected by the recall and make necessary improvements to the vehicles. Affected vehicle owners should bring their vehicle to the nearest authorized service center where the required spare parts etc. will be replaced after inspecting the vehicles. The Company does not charge a fee for any changes made to the vehicles during this recall, meaning that all of these are done for free.

Even in terms of safety, this SUV is very luxurious. It was rated 4 stars in the Global NCAP Crash Test. It is priced between Rs 12.10 lakh and Rs 14.15 lakh in the Indian market.
