Mahindra competes to buy the most luxurious and premium XUV700. We say this because this SUV has received a record 1.5 lakh bookings. Mahindra has launched the XUV700 in August 2021. At the same time, its booking started from October 7, 2021. The company claimed at the time that it had received 25,000 bookings in the first hour. At the same time, another 25,000 bookings were received in 2 hours the next day. 50,000 units of XUV700 were booked in less than 3 hours.
Many believe that the demand for it will decrease with time and they will be able to buy it easily. It didn’t happen though. Waiting for this car for 22 months. It is also the most awaited car in the country. That is, you will get its delivery after 2 years of booking. The waiting period is also increasing along with its demand. Mahindra is doing 8 to 10 thousand bookings of XUV700 every month. The company has sold 41,846 units of the XUV700 in India till June 2022.
Features of Mahindra XUV700
The XUV700 also gets an optional all-wheel-drive system. It gets Sony to surround sound system, 360-camera setup, a driver-side knee airbag, blind-spot monitoring, wireless phone charging, and an electronic parking brake. The SUV has a large panoramic sunroof also known as a sky roof. The interior has a dual HD screen with 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment and a 10.25-inch driver display. Talking about the sound quality, it offers 3D sound technology with 12 speakers.
Mahindra XUV700 engine
The XUV700 gets two engine options – 2.0-liter turbo petrol and 2.2-liter diesel. The engine is mated to a 6-speed torque converter and a 6-speed manual. Its petrol engine generates 200 PS of power and 380 Nm of torque. At the same time, the diesel engine delivers a power of 185 PS and a torque of up to 450 Nm. Three drive modes “Jeep”, “Zap” and “Zoom” are available with the diesel engine.
Mahindra XUV700 Price
The Mahindra XUV700 has priced between Rs 13.18 lakh and Rs 24.58 lakh ex-showroom. It is available in two trims: MX and AX The latter trim is divided into three variants – AX3, AX5, and AX7. It comes in 5-seater and 7-seater options. The special thing is that this SUV comes with the ADAS feature. These include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and emergency automatic braking.
