Leaders of The Citizen Movement confirmed that the party is examining the scenario and has not ruled out the possibility of appointing Ebrard, which they found coincident with speech and programming; However, so far they have not been in formal contact with him.
In his appeal, Ebrard alleged that there were quite serious irregularities in the internal process, such as use of social programs of the Ministry of Welfare by Ariadna Montiel, to promote Sheinbaum.

In a message to the media that did not take questions, Ebrard stated: “If they are given a naturalization letter to use the social programs, so that the governors and mayors intervene; If unions are forced to send their members to events, why should I stay there? (…) This may define the future of Morena more than the future of Marcelo Ebrard. In other words, are these practices valid in Morena? Will this be the case? Will we see the same thing in all surveys to come? ”

He also announced that between September 18 and October 2 he will tour the entire country to meet again with those who supported, supported, followed and voted for him.
However, these routes are not able to make a current inside Morena, because its laws prohibit it.
Article 43, which refers to the electoral process, establishes that “there is no form of pressure or manipulation of the will of Morena members in internal groups, currents or factions or in groups or interests of outside the party will be accepted.”
Ebrard himself refused to accept another position in Morena, clearly talking about being a senator, which is the possibility that was opened to him by the leadership of the party at the beginning of the internal process.
“I have great affection for President López Obrador, I am his longest partner, I will not harm him for political reasons, but I have to say this because Morena took a lot of work to organize and do it. Very respectfully, I have the greatest respect for the popular law, but it is not my goal to reach the senatorship or the position. “My goal is that it be resolved,” he added.
With the challenge and its routes starting next week, Ebrard has had time to stay current in and out of Morena, taking advantage of the fact that there are still two months left for parties to register pre-candidacies.
