Marianne Williamson, 1. to challenge Biden’s request

With the help of his writer Marianne Williamson, he launched an unlikely new bid for the White House, becoming the first Democrat to challenge President Joe Biden for the 2024 nomination.

In 2020, Williamson sought the Democratic presidential nomination for which he challenged outsiders to appeal to spiritual health rather than voting.

“We’re upset about this country, we’re worried about this country,” Williamson said Saturday before a crowd of more than 600 that kicked off in the nation’s capital.

“Our duty is to create a vision of justice and love so powerful that it overcomes the forces of hate, injustice and fear.”

The 70-year-old author, who was once Oprah Winfrey’s spiritual advisor, will only represent a sign of opposition in the primary elections, a strong sign of Democrats for Biden at the national level.

Anyway, Williamson took a dig at the president, who was a longtime Amtrak flyer, with an allegorical nod to his campaign in an ornate presidential suite held at Union Railroad Station, Washington’s main railroad center.

Biden delivered his speech from Union Station shortly before the November election, when he helped the Democrats run to a surprising size after he urged voters to reject political extremism and “democracy itself” was in the game.

Williamson, whose red, blue and black campaign banners bear the slogans “A New Beginning” and “Hack the System,” says he is on the ballot for early voting in the 2024 election.

This includes New Hampshire, which has threatened to challenge the Biden-backed Democratic National Committee’s plan to start South Carolina’s state nomination race.

Democrats and Republicans in New Hampshire have warned that if Biden skips the state’s foreign primary and wins over a challenger, it could scuttle the presidential race, even if the challenger has no real chance of winning the nomination.
