Marjorie Taylor Greene vacationed in Costa Rica during tumultuous time in Congress: Report

Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene will be vacationing in Costa Rica while a tumultuous battle rages in Congress over a $1.7 trillion overhead spending bill.

Like 200 other members of the House, Green is not the only one absent from the Capitol during the crucial session. Vote by proxy in a vote that decides whether to pass the new omnibus bill on Thursday.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has vowed to eliminate proxy voting if elected as speaker.
