DENTON, Texas (NWN) — Grant Wells passed for 323 yards and two touchdowns, ran for three more as Marshall beat North Texas 49-21 Friday night.
Marshall (4-3, 2-1 Conference USA) scored touchdowns on six consecutive properties in the first half with Wales, who completed 24 of 32 passes while engaging with eight receivers. The defense forced five punts and five turnover downs on 14 North Texas drives.
