The X-Men turn 60 and now we can enjoy the adventures of the original Marvel team.
This December, Marvel Comics fans have a special reason to celebrate: the legendary X-Men are turning 60! And to commemorate this historic event, the team’s five original members – Cyclops, Jean Gray (formerly known as Marvel Girl), Beast, Angel and Iceman – will embark on an exciting multiversal mission in a new one-shot titled ” Original X-“ reunite. Men #1. This work is by talented writer Christos Gage and renowned artist Greg Land.

“This group of young mutant icons was chosen by Professor After the cosmic being restored the team’s lost memories, this bold epic will explore themes introduced when Brian Michael Bendis played the Original Five in the blockbuster All-New X-Men.” from 2012 to the present day, and the start of a… new X-Men series. This is how Christos Gage explains it.
“It’s up to them to find a way to convince their older selves that they’re making a terrible mistake, or to somehow defeat these much more powerful versions of them.” Basically, it’s about your younger, idealistic self being in “Coming into conflict with your older, jaded self, who has compromised and given up his dreams in order to survive and do what he thinks is best, even if that means making difficult decisions.”
It will undoubtedly be a Marvel adventure to consider as it will impact fans who have enjoyed all of these characters for years.
Marvel’s X-Men Comic #1 will go on sale on December 20, 2023.
