Marvel presents the new version of the Thor Corps

One of the most powerful groups in the Marvel Universe has been redesigned for the greatest adventures possible.

Marvel Comics continues to surprise us with its epic stories and iconic characters, and it seems that December will bring us a new and impressive part of the God of Thunder’s story with The Immortal Thor #5. Written by Al Ewing and illustrated by Martín Cóccolo, this edition promises to be a highlight in the life of the great hero.

To add to the excitement, the legendary Alex Ross has designed a stunning cover that foreshadows an epic reveal: the introduction of the new Thor Corps.

To bring this team together you need a great villain.

In this issue, Thor faces the threat of Toranos, and to counter him, he gathers an army of storm gods. But what happens when not even a divine army can stop the Old God of Thunder? That’s what we’ll explore in The Immortal Thor #5, a Marvel story that promises to define Thor in a whole new way.

Speaking about this new installment of Immortal, Al Ewing shared his thoughts: “For a while I had been thinking about making a second Immortal title because I wanted to put a different spin on something that was already big and significant . I also wanted something more optimistic. The Hulk is a character deeply rooted in horror, and I’ve written many emotionally intense stories with him. I think Thor is inherently a high fantasy character, and writing him gives you the opportunity to approach him from a perspective of hope. And that’s a good thing, we all need a little hope!”

Thor Corps’ big reveal has left Marvel fans wanting more, and Ewing jokes about the cover, saying, “Let’s talk about this cover.” Basically, it’s everything… well, not everything, because Eric Masterson Unfortunately, he is no longer with us, but rather many people who used to be Thor. Now we’re Thor again… to support Thor. The main Thor!”

This statement raises an interesting question: Could Eric rise from the dead in this issue? While we don’t want to get too excited, The Immortal Thor seems like the right place for something so amazing to happen.

Al Ewing has shaped Marvel Comics and his take on Thor has been a blast so far. Alex Ross’ cover for The Immortal Thor #5 is simply stunning and promises fans an exciting experience.
