Mass General Brigham and YouTube have partnered to produce a video series with credible medical information on health topics from mRNA technology to mental health, Hospital system announced.

Mass General Brigham and other health institutions will create several YouTube videos over a week to share medical information about various health and science topics in an effort to increase access to credible medical research.
“By working closely with global digital platforms like YouTube, we will expand the reach of our experts and expand access to reliable health information not only in our communities but for all people around the world,” said Dr Ravi Thadhani, Mass General Brigham’s chief academic officer said in a statement.
YouTube will soon be adding new features with health searches, such as an information panel to give context about sources and a “content shelf” to highlight videos from trusted sources.
The health video will be drafted using top principles from an expert panel convened by the National Academy of Medicine.
Videos will be available in the coming weeks.
