According to The Mirror, Matty and Meredith were still dating when she met to record with Taylor in February, and the model “had no idea” they were getting close.

But those of us in her inner circle, whom she has confided in, are deeply offended by how she treated him and feel that he is a good person. The boy is not. Her reluctance to be seen with him in February now appears in a different light.”
The most shocking thing is that Meredith became a huge fan and admirer of Taylor Swift: “She has posted her songs on TikTok in the past. He respects her as a strong, independent and talented woman and has no interest in bad-mouthing her.
