(Nation World News) — You may need a drink before going to this bar.
Earlier this week, a 240-metre-long glass bridge with a suspended “diamond-shaped” bar was inaugurated in the Dashbashi Valley, about a two-hour drive from the capital Tbilisi in southern Georgia.
Built by investment group Kaas Group, which operates in Israel and Georgia, the massive transparent structure, which rises to 280 meters, extends through the natural monument, offering panoramic views of its impressive waterfalls and caves.
Its construction, made of steel and glass, took about three years. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili attended its official opening on 14 June.

The bridge’s most prominent feature is undoubtedly its multi-level bar, which sits at the highest point of the largest and tallest suspension structure in the world. Apparently, the site has been applied for evaluation by Guinness World Records.
The project, which is estimated to cost around US$40 million, also includes a zip line where visitors can cycle through the canyon and “swing” on the cliff, while there are a series of guest suites nearby.
Tomar Mor Yosef of Kaas Group previously revealed that he was inspired by the cannon for the shape of the bar.
“The goal was to create an extreme, exciting and unforgettable moment that would awaken all five senses of the guests and make a lasting impression on their memory,” he told The Georgian Journal last year.

Officials hope the spectacular bridge will attract more tourists to the site, which is considered one of Georgia’s most impressive natural sites.
The project follows the opening last April of the world’s longest glass-bottom bridge, suspended 150 meters above the ground and with a length of 632 meters, located in a rural area of Son La province in northwestern Vietnam Is.
Georgia’s glass bridge opened the same week the country removed all COVID-19 entry requirements for international visitors, reverting to its pre-pandemic border policy.
The news was announced by the Georgian Foreign Ministry on June 15.
