Michael Giacchino, who directed the music for titles like Thor 4 and coordinated Werewolf by Night, will make his directorial debut.
From music and instruments to camera and direction. Michael Giacchino, one of the modern sound geniuses in Hollywood, has decided to change that. The specialist has been in charge of the sound pieces for productions such as Star Trek, Mission Impossible, Coco or Ratatouille. However, he has also worked in media such as video games, where he did the same with Medal of Honor and Call of Duty.

The award-winning and recognized for his work, the sound engineer and composer decided to turn director last year with the Marvel short film, Werewolf by Night.
An Emmy, three Grammys, a Golden Globe and an Oscar gave him enough credit to make his debut as a lead in a feature film. This is nothing more than a remake of the horror classic, Them and nothing less!
“There’s always one movie in your head that never leaves your head,” Giacchino told The Exchange, adding, “For me, that’s them!” It wasn’t until much later in my life that I knew what it was about: the nuclear age. what i love about them! It’s exactly what it’s called: Them! It is about the other, the unknown that one rejects or cannot understand. His current version! is about immigration, and how to tell a story about it through the lens of this crazy sci-fi monster movie.
Giacchino confirmed to the outlet that he also intends to compose the film’s soundtrack, something he has already done with Werewolf by Night and two of his other short films. In a statement, Jesse Ehrman, president of production and development for Warner Bros. Pictures, said: “Michael Giacchino is a unique talent. We are excited to be working with him and have him at the studio.”
