MinTIC prepares Conpes document for reindustrialization based on technology

To further promote connectivity, ICT Minister Mauricio Lizcano announced at the Andicom Congress that the government is preparing a Conpes document for the reindustrialization of the country based on technology.

“The structuring of this Conpe will allow us to create the roadmap for the country to have greater economic growth, equality and productivity. In building these public policies, technology will be the foundation because only i,n this way can we transform Colombia,” stressed Lizcano.

Likewise, he pointed out that during this event, about 30 meetings were held with various leaders and representatives of the ICT sector “to develop strategies that promote technology adoption and connectivity in remote areas”.

The evaluation criteria for awarding the award included the changes in the business model, the impact on customers, the strategic vision, the use of platforms, their sustainability, and the introduction of digital culture among the company’s employees.

More than 80 companies answered the call and nominated their most outstanding initiatives for 2023.
