Ms. Marvel, the latest offering from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is making all the right noises. The series, which features the MCU’s first Muslim superhero, traces the life of teenager Kamala Khan, played by Iman Vellani. The show also features superstars Farhan Akhtar and Fawad Khan among many other big names from the subcontinent. And now, the role of Bollywood director-actor Farhan Akhtar, which was kept a secret for quite some time, is finally revealed in the teaser of the fourth episode of the show. The clip shared online by Disney and Marvel’s social media accounts shows Farhan as Waleed.
The clip begins with Karim aka Red Dagger taking Kamala, played by Aramis Knight, to a mysterious chamber. As Kamala says it makes for a great hideout, says Karim, “Typically, tourists are not allowed.” As Kamala continues to check the room, Farhan Akhtar appears as Waleed and says, “But for Ayesha’s descendant, I’m sure we can make an exception.”
Introducing himself, Farhan says, “My name is Waleed. Your great-grandmother’s story is one of legend. When you’re ready, we have a lot to discuss.”
Sharing the video, the official Instagram page of Disney+Hotstar wrote: “Hume bohot kuch kehna hai aur aapko bohot kuch dekhna hai (We have a lot to tell and show you).”
