New Delhi The agitation of the farmers against the three agricultural laws made by the central government continues for the 104th consecutive day. Farmers are encamped on the Delhi borders, whose demand is that the government repeal the agricultural laws. The government has spoken of amending agricultural laws and not enforcing them for two years, but nothing less than cancellation is allowed to the farmers.
There were 11 rounds of talks between the Union Minister and the farmer leaders to resolve the issue, but no solution could be found to the problem. If the government is talking about amending the agricultural laws, then the farmers are firm on the demand for cancellation.
Meanwhile, Modi government is going to give a big gift to small marginal farmers before Holi. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the government is going to put the eighth installment of Rs 2000 in the farmers’ account. To increase the income of farmers under this scheme, the government sends 3 installments of two thousand rupees a year. About 11 crore farmers benefit from this scheme.
At the same time, Aadhaar number is also required from December 1, 2019 to take advantage of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Linking of bank account and Aadhaar number is very important only then farmers can take advantage of this scheme.
