Modified product: Joe Rockett Trans Canada 3.0 Jacket, Weatherproof

The Joe Rocket Trans Canada 3.0 Jacket provides protection for motorcycle trips in any weather, thanks to interesting solutions that give it exceptional versatility.

The name Trans Canada 3.0 certainly does justice to this Joe Rockett apparel, which is built to offer protection on long road trips in all weather conditions.

The Canadian manufacturer has provided us with a copy of this heavy-duty motorcycling jacket that surprises us with its versatility and intelligent solutions to guarantee the comfort and safety of the rider in various conditions.

It is made with the Rock Tex 600 system, developed by Joe Rocket, a fabric with high abrasion resistance that is complemented by removable vaulted shoulders and elbow protection with European CE certification.

Like all of its jackets, the Joe Rocket includes a removable CE Level 2 back protector as standard, something other manufacturers don’t offer.

All of Trans Canada’s protective panels are from Vault Armor Systems and are configured as a network of hexagons making them 30 percent lighter, flexible and breathable than conventional ones without sacrificing their protection levels.

Multifaceted talent

At its core, the Joe Rocket Trans Canada is a fully enclosed, water-repellent, cold-weather jacket with a waterproof, heat-sealed liner that provides a snug, waterproof feel for winter riding.

However, the cross flow system contributes to the circulation of air inside for use in hot climates. At the front, it has two zippers and a buckle to keep the wind open, which comes out through two rear openings, also with zippers.

If the weather demands it, the jacket can be even lighter and more ventilated. The Metasport system allows you to combine the benefits of two different jackets by separating the outer mesh from the inner mesh.

Plus, the sleeves can be removed to expose the mesh portion, which increases airflow and cooling without removing the elbow protectors. There’s a similar system on the back that removes the outsole and leaves the mesh open for more ventilation.

Body adjustments are made by means of pressure broaches and cuffs on the arms and Velcro at the waist. The neck closure is with a snap and has a microfiber lining that prevents irritation from rubbing, as well as the cuffs.

It comes with two interior bags and one on the back, along with a clip for keys and a microfiber protector for the helmet visor to prevent scratches.

The outfit is finished with reflective trims on the upper chest, elbows and upper back.

Because of its versatility, technology and components, the Joe Rocket Trans Canada Jacket offers good value for money. It is available from distributors and on for approximately 4,900 pesos.
