More than 500 players will participate this Saturday, May 27, in the 10th National Sports Conference without insults, a day in which 50 games will be held between 41 teams, as announced on Wednesday by the advisor for the field, María Hernández.
This was highlighted by the mayor with Ricardo Bandrés, representative of the Malaga delegation of the Andalusian Basketball Federation; and Fernando Revillas, president of Salliver Basketball Club.
Hernández indicated that during the day a total of 500 games will be played among the 41 participating teams, promoting values such as respect, education, camaraderie or tolerance. The appointment will be held from 9:30 at the Salliver school, although in case of rain it will be done at the Juanito skin.
“Since 2019 we could not repeat this national games without encountering insults, and this time there will be the participation of more than 500 athletes from many Andalusian and national provinces to promote respect for rivals and sports values, against. insults and bad gestures”, Hernandez told.
The council confirmed that “more than 40 teams will participate in this meeting and more than 50 matches” between each category, because they will participate from the first to the veterans.
Ricardo Bandrés explained that the Málaga delegation collaborates with the Andalusian Basketball Federation, providing the participation of referees and members of the table that will lead the different matches. “We are happy to be back in Fuengirola again this tournament, which was one of the organizers at the national level, which was about the event of goods and now starting again”, he pointed out.
On the other hand, Bandres explained that “in this case there will be more than 40 teams that will participate, so that there will be five games at the same time and this means that between the referees and the scorers there are 20 people at a time.”
To conclude, Fernando Revillas, president of Salliver Basketball Club, thanked “both the Vatican City Council and the Federation” that, whenever we need something from the club, they always support us and in this case, the federation provides us with a reference staff. and the table”.
