Morena will try to reach a reconciliation with Marcelo Ebrard. The party’s new goal is to prevent challenges to its chosen internal process reached the electoral court of the Judiciary of the Federation before his presidential candidate and make preparation for 2024 more difficult.

On June 14th Marcelo Ebrard was the first to register as an applicant and he read aloud a document that he later signed: “I accept that the definition of this process will be through the poll method, therefore the result will be incontestable.” “Always stick to the truth and face it, no matter how hard.” It is about recognizing and correcting my mistakes”, “opposing all forms of distortion of the popular will”, “never allowing myself to be carried away by desire for revenge and always acting with the higher goal of the renewal of Mexico”.
Ebrard confirmed: “Having fully understood the rules, I officially commit to supporting the end result of this process and giving my full support to whoever coordinates the defense of the fourth transformation.”

The Commission said last Friday that it would first examine the origin or inadmissibility of the complaint and if the complaint continues, it will notify the respondent to enable him to file his response. The answer and the evidence presented are then examined and disclosed to the plaintiff.
If agreement is not possible between the parties, statutory hearings will be held to present evidence and allegations. And finally, if there are no further complaints to be resolved, the conclusion of the investigation is declared after the statutory hearing and the corresponding draft decision is prepared.

For commission procedures, the processing time is a maximum of 30 working days. and although Article 50 states that “the meetings of the National Commission for Honesty and Justice at which the evidence and allegations will be presented will be public,” they warned that the progress of the trial would only be announced after the trial was completed.
Ebrard Casaubón made his stay in the party dependent on the response to his complaint so that this decision could even be extended until the official start of the pre-campaigns on November 5th.
