Pubic hair received Argentina this Tuesday at Qualifications for the 2026 World Cup, but the Albiceleste seem to be local to La Paz. Posters, flags and even a mural show the Bolivian city, which is celebrating Lionel Messi and company for their 2022 World Cup title.
The welcoming gesture angered the Bolivian team and its captain, Marcelo Moreno Martins, who expressed his displeasure. The Independiente del Valle forward must emphasize to his people that they must support only one team in this qualifying process.
“It is important that we come together, we are strong together. We cannot be separated, we cannot support two teams, we must be united. “This is how a competitive group is formed,” commented the Bolivian captain.
The mayor of La Paz ordered a mural of the Argentine and Bolivian national teams to be painted, and put up two posters saying “Messi, You are great!” and “Welcome, champion!” Angry, Martins declared that “we will play for all of them, for the whole country, for the whole country, for a victory that we want.”
