The Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Pátrushev, in an interview with Rossíyskaya Gazeta published this Monday that NATO member countries are directly participating in the conflict in Ukraine.

In this context, the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia stated that the West will not end the conflict until Russia is defeated. “They are trying to prolong this military exercise as long as possible, they do not hide their main goal: the defeat of Russia on the battlefield and its subsequent disintegration,” he said.

According to the official, Washington’s main objective is to deceive its population in the midst of the systemic crisis in which they are involved. “Your democracy is nothing more than a beautiful front for government to hide its contempt for the rights of ordinary Americans,” he added.

“By hypocritically talking about freedom of choice, the US, which has declared itself the world’s dictator, will in effect limit itself to terrorizing countries where their government and democracy have been trampled upon,” he concluded.

At the same time, he stated that the anti-Russian sanctions, Moscow is not going to close its economy to the world. He explained that this “will be open and integrated with the economies of the top countries that are dealing with their success.”
He also said that Western leaders are “infuriated by a balanced movement to pressure Russia with sanctions.” “Our country irritates the leaders of the European Union with its economic independence, raw materials, and scientific knowledge,” he argued, adding that the West is completely dependent on transnational corporations and global economic ties.
According to the secrets of the Russian Security Council, if similar sanctions were imposed against France or the United Kingdom, “they would quickly fall into chaos.”
At the same time, Patrushev stated that the idea of US politicians that Russia cannot respond to US nuclear strikes pre-emptively is “a studious and dangerous stupidity”. He mentioned that Moscow “possesses weapons and the only weapons that can destroy any adversary, the US in the event of a threat to its existence.”
