boy zone A recent study has limited the possibility of finding human life on Mars. According to research conducted by researchers at the University of California San Diego, there is little or no evidence of water in the subsurface of Mars.
The surprising results were obtained after studying seismic data from NASA’s Mars InSight mission. The Mars InSight lander is located on Elysium Planitia, a smooth flat surface near the Martian equator. The InSight lander studied the Red Planet’s subsurface buried about 300 meters below the landing site.
Seismic data suggest that water claims on Mars are negligible.

“We found that the crust of Mars is weak and porous. The sediment is not well cemented. And there is no ice or much ice that fills the pore space,” said Vasan Wright, one of the study’s authors. “
However, Wright said the finding does not dispel the idea of ice being present or contributing to other minerals.
Researchers believe that water does not exist in liquid form, but is part of the mineral composition. Study co-author Michael Manga of the University of California Berkeley explains that when water interacts with rock, it produces a new set of clay-like minerals.

In response to these comments, Michael said, “There is some cement, but the rocks are not filled with cement. The lack of cemented sediment indicates an acute shortage of water 300 meters below the InSight spacecraft landing site.”
