National Geographic revives September 11 through new documentary series

September 11, 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center buildings in New York, where 2,606 people died and an event that changed the lives of all the inhabitants of planet Earth forever.

because of this reason National Geographic Worked on and produced the six-episode documentary series “9/11: One Day in America” Where the events of that tragic day are narrated from a few survivors’ perspectives from different perspectives, with never-before-seen videos and stories.

This series, in which one Seven-hour duration, produced in official collaboration with the 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York City.

To make this documentary series, Filmmakers team scrutinized 951 hours of archival video, something never seen before, to create an immersive and emotional story. Furthermore, it provides a comprehensive and intimate look at how the tragic events of that day affected so many lives, depicting the heroic acts of self-denial and the bravery of strangers to save each other at all costs and the human soul.
