Bogota, May 17, 2023. With the aim of moving forward in the implementation of the Multipurpose Cadastre Public Policy, a Memorandum of Understanding was successfully signed between the Agustín Codazzi Geographical Institute and the National Public Procurement Agency Colombia Compra Efficient, thus allowing to establish a cadastral management of the country Strategic tool for demand aggregation.
With this, it will be possible to materialize the objectives of the national government, which promised to have real and updated information on the country, promoting public policies aimed at land equity and peace, under the objective of ‘Colombia world vitality’.
“Today the country is on 9.36% cadastral update with multipurpose approach. The goal is for 70% of the national territory to have reliable, accurate and useful information for regional planning and decision making in matters of sustainability. For this reason, this agreement allows us to widely promote all the tools and efforts that IGAC enjoys with partners such as the National Agency for Public Procurement and thus continue to build a geography for life “, said Gustavo Marulanda, General Director of IGAC.
On the other hand, Stalin, director of Colombia Compra Efficient, said that: “It is extremely important for the agency to join efforts and contribute to public policies that are a priority for the government of change.
