Barry Jackson I went from Nebraska to Cincinnati on National Signing Day.
This is a surprising move from the 2023 four-star receiver. Jackson, who has committed to the Huskers since July 2, appears to be a constant in the classroom. He made an official visit to Nebraska on December 16–18 for his draft’s second OV of Lincoln, saying he was planning on signing with the Huskers on Wednesday and registering for Nebraska in January.
His commitment still seemed so firm that he was not about to sign last Wednesday as the 21-member Huskers officially signed their national letter of intent to join the program.
One of the lowest achievers in the country out of Cedar Grove High School in Georgia, Jackson stayed with the previous Huskers staff, including former Husker coaches Mickey Joseph and Shawn Picton. A lot has changed with the Husker software, but it still looks the same matt rowley And the new staff did little to keep Jackson in the fold.
Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, Louisville and Memphis were among the other programs that were top schools prior to Jackson’s commitment. Cincinnati, which is undergoing its own coaching transition, was not in that first group, but it made a strong impression on them in December.
Jackson made an official trip to Cincinnati the week before his OV to Nebraska, and this helped support his decision to go to the Bearcats instead of the Big Ten.
