Actress Neetu Kapoor dances to late actor Shammi Kapoor’s song as she stands on the roof of a car on the sets of Dance Deewane Juniors. Colors TV posted a video on Instagram in which the actor was seen standing on top of a red colored car with Marzi Pestonji as the music started. In the clip, Neetu dances on O Haseena Zulfonwali from the film Teesri Manzil (1966). The original song featured Helen and Shammi, and Neetu tried to bring a retro vibe to her dance moves with Will. Directed by Vijay Anand, the film starred Shammi Kapoor, Asha Parekh, Laxmi Chhaya, Premnath, Prem Chopra, Iftekhar and Helen.
Neetu was seen wearing a yellow ethnic suit while Marzi opted for an all-black outfit. In the panel of judges, Nora was seen moaning while standing near her seat. Responding to the video, a fan wrote, “Break the barriers! Flow like a river..Now there is no bar for you Neetu ma’am!!” “Very good very good. Dancing King and Dancing Queen,” commented another person. “Neetu ji, your dance inspires many others,” read one comment. A fan said, “Pakki Punjabi kudi (truly Punjabi lady)! Recently, Neetu spoke about her husband Rishi, who died in April 2020 after a battle with leukemia. He also told about his upcoming film Jagjag Jio. Talking to news agency PTI, Neetu said, “The first day I went to the sets, I also posted a picture that it was the first time I was stepping out of the house without him. I am sure he is me. was giving blessings, that made things easy. For me. But to be honest, it was difficult not to act with him. It was tough. Even today, when I am called for some function, I can’t go. I can go for shoots, but I can. Don’t go to any film festival without them. Directed by Raj Mehta, Jugjug Jio will also feature Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on June 24.
