New AX7 Smart Variant of Mahindra XUV700 Coming, Waiting Time Will Be Less, Learn the Features

Mahindra & Mahindra is set to expand its XUV700 SUV lineup soon. The company will soon launch a new AX7 smart variant of this SUV. According to reports, this top variant will be cheaper than the AX7. Due to the low cost, it will miss some features including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistant System). Also available are Hill door assist, Hill descent control, driver detection steering, a wireless phone charger, electronic stability program, electronic parking brakes, electric door handles with passive keyless entry, drive mode and knee airbags. New variant.

What will be the specialty of the new variant
The exterior of the new Mahindra XUV700 AX7 smart pack will feature auto booster headlamps, all LED lights, 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, electrically compatible ORVM and smart door handles. Speaking of the interior, it will have a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 10.25-inch digital instrument console, cruise control and a panoramic sunroof. For security, it will get 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Isofix seat mount, cornering lamp and a 360-degree camera.

Engine and transmission
Mahindra XUV700 gets two engine options – 2.0L mStallion Turbo Petrol and 2.2L mHawk diesel. Where the petrol engine generates 197bhp of peak power and 380Nm of torque, the diesel engine generates 182bhp and 420Nm of torque in the manual transmission and automatically generates 450Nm of torque. It gets 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.

Will help reduce waiting
As we have already mentioned, the new smart variant will not have the same features as ADAS, which requires a lot of semiconductor chips. Since there is a shortage of semiconductor chips at the moment, the new variant will help reduce the waiting time for the top trim AX7. Currently it is waiting for 8 to 10 months. Interestingly, customers who have already booked the XUV700 can opt for the new AX7 Smart variant.
