New Brightline Train Stations Bring Miami and Orlando Closer

A new transportation system will connect Miami and Orlando in the United States state of Florida. It is a train capable of traveling at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, and from December it will start serving citizens between two new stations: Aventura and Boca Raton, initially.

It’s about the expansion of Brightline Train, which announced the opening of these stations to the public. According to Brightline, their “initial schedules will be planned based on commuter rail guidelines and weekday morning and afternoon rush hours. On non-peak hours and weekends, trains will run every two hours,” according to the Miami Herald.

As such, commuters will be able to travel from downtown Miami to Aventura and Boca Raton in 15 and 32 minutes, respectively. Having a time of displacement that did not occur in the south of the state of Florida.

Upon its opening, tickets for travel can be purchased on the mobile application and Brightline web portal starting at $10 one-way.

This new delivery is part of the Brightline train expansion project, which manages to connect Miami and Orlando in just 3 hours and will have two classes: Smart, which is economical, and Premium, with more amenities. The line is expected to be fully completed in March 2023.
