The best selling and cheapest car of the country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Maruti Alto has always been the first choice of customers. Now the company is preparing to launch its next generation model. Recently, the next generation model of this car has been spotted during testing.
If reports are to be believed, then the company will first introduce this new Alto in Japan in January next year. After this it will be introduced in the Indian market. The testing model was completely camouflage (cover), although some things related to its design have been revealed. It is being told that the company will make some cosmetic changes in this new car, it is also possible that it will see a slight change in size and its weight will be reduced due to being built on the Heartech platform.
It will get a redesigned front grille, headlamps, tweaked bumpers and a new taillamp. Its height may be slightly higher than the current model, apart from that the length and width will be the same. More changes can be seen in the cabin of this car. It is believed that the company can give a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system in it, which can be connected to Android Auto and Apple Car Play.
As features, new instrument cluster, keyless entry, power windows, steering mounted controls can be found in the new Maruti Alto. Safety will also be taken care of in this car. It can get anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), dual airbags, reverse parking sensors, speed alert system, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder as standard features in this car.
There is no information about its engine yet. In the current model, the company uses an engine of 796cc capacity. Which generates 47 bhp power and 69 Nm torque. Due to new and advanced technology, this car will be able to give better mileage. For now, the official announcement about the launch of this car will have to wait. Due to the new updates, its price may be higher than the current model.
