New Maruti Celerio will be launched tomorrow, will get 26kmpl mileage, what is the price?

The new generation Maruti Suzuki Celerio will be launched in the Indian market tomorrow. This entry-level hatchback was first launched in 2014. After that, it was upgraded to 2018. The hatchback competes directly with cars such as the Hyundai Santro and the Tata Tiago. Please note that car bookings have already begun. Customers can book this hatchback car for Rs 11,000.

Get ‘Best Mileage’
Maruti has not shared many details about the car, but it has definitely claimed that it will be ‘the most fuel efficient petrol car in the country’. According to a report, Maruti Suzuki Celerio will give mileage up to 26 kmpl. It will be based on the company’s Hartect platform, which is also available on hatchbacks like the Swift and Baleno. Due to this platform, the new celery can be longer, wider and higher than before.

This will be the design and features
When it comes to design, some changes will be seen in the exterior of the new Celerio. Looking at the teaser and spy shots, it is known that the front face will be different from the current model. It will have redesigned bumpers, oval grills with chrome bars and more attractive air intake. The new Maruti Celerio will also get a newly designed dashboard, a 7-inch touchscreen system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a push start / stop button with a passive start / stop function.

Engine and potential price
The new Celerio will be offered with a 1.0-liter K10C K-Series dual jet, dual VVT petrol engine. It will be able to generate 83hp of power output and 115 Nm of peak torque. Both manual and automatic transmissions will be provided with the engine. This engine is more powerful and fuel efficient than the current Celerio. Speaking of prices, the new Celerio could be launched at an initial price of Rs 4.50 lakh.
