New participants for the 2nd version of the Inadeh Dual Program in Automotive Mechanics

The National Institute of Vocational Training and Human Tradition (Inadeh) in partnership with large private companies, presents the second version of the vocational program in Automotive Mechanics, which seeks to train 26 participants under an academic training model that combines preparation. of individual people in their own academic activities with the training of the responsibilities of the companies in the educated society.

For this second version of the program, which is part of Inadeh’s flagship Transformations and Comprehensive Improvement project, 26 participants (3 women and 23 men) between 18 and 25 years of age were selected, of which 1,232 registered and 50 were selected; They underwent psychotechnical evaluations and direct interviews with personnel from our organization and 11 companies that support this project.

Those selected to learn the trade of Automotive Mechanics, while working in one of the 11 companies in the automotive industry, designed to generate the human talent that the labor market demands and transforms the productive system, through the training of people through the skills and knowledge that allow. to adapt them to the enthusiasm of work and labor and employment in the country.

Dr. Mariela Salgado, general director of Inadeh, explained that the Dual Training system is a model that has been successful in European countries and encouraged new participants to take advantage of this opportunity.

“We are starting the journey together with 26 young people selected and in a double formation. At Inadeh we provide opportunities for development and training. The process was not easy, but sitting in the chair, men and women, also means a great job. It will not be an easy process, they will have to overcome many obstacles, they must be a task for those young people who are interested in continuing the training”, said Dr. Salgado during the presentation ceremony.

In addition, he highlighted the importance of women who constitute a new group of participants. He invites them to take a chance.

Currently, the group of participants is completing the program that began in September of last year when the pilot project emerged.

Some of these participants shared the first version of the teaching they had in the semesters in the program. While two participants from the new group spoke as peers and thanked for the opportunity, they promised to work hard.

The 26 apprentices selected through the educational process will move to the Tocumen Center for three months on the 80th.

In this period, INADEH instructors will teach the modules: Soft skills for working life, General Mathematics, Linear Drawing, Industrial Safety and Professional Hazards in car mechanics, Office Automation Skills, Electromechanics, Metrology, Bank Mechanics, Introduction to Automotive and Automotive Mechanics. Technical English.

From there, he began his training at Ricardo Pérez, Petro Autos, Ford Cincuentenario, Hyundai Truck & Bus, Consul Nos, Changan Auto, Panama Car Rental and Budget Rent a Car.

Participants, when participating in the company, enjoy insurance and financial remuneration that is worth 70% of the salary that the company has stipulated for its formal workers.
